Arts, Culture and Community Forum

6/4/2009 Reminder:

This *afternoon* at 4pm!… I guess this was just meant for artists, media and the unemployed (and of course the political junkies).

Not a mayoral debate – but rather an “open forum” taking place over at the Monroe Center (720 Monroe Street) this Thursday, June 4th at 4pm.

Mile Square Theater to host forum

Arts, Culture, and Community Forum with Hoboken mayoral candidates Peter Cammarano and Dawn Zimmer in The Monroe Theatrespace, June 4 at 4pm.

Candidates Cammarano and Zimmer will be presenting their opinions and ideas on the importance of a healthy community of artists and creative entrepreneurs within the community of Hoboken. Each candidate will speak for fifteen minutes followed by fifteen minutes each for questions and answers.

We are hoping that everyone from the community who shares our concern for the future of the arts, music and culture will attend. We are counting on a strong turn out from the community to impress upon these candidates that cultural production is a vital part of the fabric of our lives here in Hoboken.

The event will take place in the The Monroe Theatrespace, 720 Monroe Street, on the second floor, on Thursday, June 4 @ 4pm and is hosted by The Friends of the Monroe Center.
