Most of it does seem the same. But I go... because I enjoy it. Only happens twice per year, and most of the time I miss one.

This season, I saw some new artists. One of my favorite booths was run by a photographer who displayed shots taken in Cambodia. Thought that was cool. :)

actually you would be wrong. i have been to probably 30 of these over the last 15+yrs. i believe we now have 10+ festivals a year, not including the st pats parade? (various churchs and "cultural affairs" events as well as city sponsored) they all seem the same after a while.

You've apparently never been to the Hoboken Art & Music Festival if you think that's what goes on at this one. It's nothing like the street fairs in Manhattan. And as for those who put it in the same boat as St. Patty's, no comparison. This is confined to Washington Street and no is harassed and no property is damaged. I look forward to Art and Music but I leave town for St. Patty's.

That may be, Stpaddy. But at least no one's drinking in front of my building and either peeing/purging on or littering my stoop! :D

Sounds yummy. One of my favorite concoctions has been pushed by Paula Deen. God bless her and her deep-fried/tempura brownies-- healthful and delicious!

I've tried to indulge in real festival food these past couple of years. But I always wind up with a Karma Kafe wrap!
