Hoboken Boot Camps – Hard core training

David Cabral, a personal trainer at New York Sports Club – is starting something different this spring: Hoboken Boot Camps.

He successfully ran these boot camps in Central Park for two years – and is now bringing his fitness prowess to this side of the Hudson. Classes are held uptown on the waterfront near the Harborside Lofts and Hudson Tea Building.

Just wanted to chime in on this topic. I started taking this class 3 weeks ago and I already see a change in my body and the way I’m feeling.

I’ve been taking the 6:00am class and to my surprise I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to the workouts in the AM.

He’s starting a 9:30am class on Saturday that’s held on Sinatra and 2nd.
It’s $15 but for each friend you bring you get $5 off.
Even if you don’t want to sign up for the class you should stroll by and see what it’s all about.

I’ve been doing the bootcamp since it started last week and it’s great. I wouldn’t do half the things Dave has us do on my own. Dave keeps it interesting and fun even when you feel like you can’t do it anymore.

I am a member of Crossfit Hoboken and they are starting a bootcamp crossfit style. They are moving into a larger gym in the next week so hopefully it will be running soon.

Googled this guy and nothing came up accept he was a manager for another boot camp run by someone else

I went to the boot camp this morning. I really liked it, though I think my body will be killing me tomorrow morning. David is really nice and a good teacher and I definitely got a good workout. It’s good for all fitness levels. I am in good shape and workout often but the workout was still very challenging. It really was totally free and there was no gimmick at least not yet. I am excited for my class tomorrow.
