Bonuses at Garden of Eden

4/7/2009:

Now that the big, bad, ‘ole Economy has taught many of us how to live more reasonably these days – one Hoboken411 reader thought you might find these “bonus days” over at Garden of Eden supermarket (226 Washington Street) helpful!

Surprise at the checkout!

“I stopped in at Garden of Eden last week to buy some steaks, found they were selling Filet Mignon for $12.99 a pound, which was pretty sweet.

But the real surprise was when I checked out, the cashier said because I spent of $20, they took 10% off the bill, and because I spent more than $25, she gave me a free dozen eggs. I was really pleased and surprised!

She said the 10% discount is in effect Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I know a lot of folks shop there just out of sheer convenience, but 10% is 10% even if the prices are high to start.

Thanks for a lot for a great site.”

cannellini or cannelloni, white bean or pasta?

You’re all so very wrong – the correct spelling is “cannoli” and its a pastry! 😆

Maybe it’ll take a while to get the taste buds back in shape due to bit & tug injuries, but yeah I’m going with Vince on this one. If you get a chance, he’s got a great independent movie about L.A.’s ugly side (as if there was another side).

Vince isn’t going to be doing anything for a while…the whole ‘beat the living crap out of a hooker in Miami’ thing is going to keep him busy.

Top Chef was brutally bad this year. Don’t get me started.
Vince should be a guest judge for that challenge, pass that on as well
To add balance I think Billy Mays and possibly George Foreman as well… 😆
