Nwise – I responded to your post with detailed info on the Communter Corner – hope that helps.

Also, the monthly pass is TOTALLY worth it for the bus – it’s $2.55 a trip to the city which at 2 trips 20 work days a month is $102. The monthly pass is $78 and then you can go to the city on the weekend, or take the washington st. bus within Hoboken any time you want essentially for free…

There is a Willoe and a Washington St 126. They depart from different gates at the PA.

Hey- does anyone know how often the 126 on Clinton runs in the morning, and at what time it first stops at 9th street?

Also, in the pm, does the 126 only stop on washington?

Thanks!

Thank you for all your comments! If I take this job in the bronx, I would need to take the 1 train up there….so far away. originally I was planning on taking the path to 33rd, walking to the 2/3 and transferring to the 1 at 96th, which would take me about an hour and a half to get there. Do the 126 buses run frequently during rush hour? how long would i typically have to wait at the 9th and clinton stop at say, 6:30 am, for the bus? it costs 2.55$, correct? at port authority, how long is the transfer from the bus to the 2/3 train? i will try it out of course but wanted to get advice first.

iceref- the walk to the path from 8th and willow is indeed about 15-20 minutes (i have short legs). or, you can pick up the 126 at 7th and willow which is about a 5 minute ride, but only runs on weekdays between 6-10 am.
