Hoboken411: Three Years!
What? It’s been how long?
I wanted to take this opportunity to briefly mention that today is the official (but unofficial) Three Year Anniversary of Hoboken411.com!
(I formally announced it at some point the 2nd week of April 2006 – but “4/11” just makes the most sense!)
36 consecutive months of growth
When one first starts an endeavor – you never really know what to expect. And during the first couple months, I was really only concerned with one thing: “would I run out of content?” Well, that never happened – and amazingly Hoboken411 has seen increased readership each and every month it’s been online. Regardless of the season, or how many days are in the month – each month has more visits, pageviews and registered users than before.
Whether you believe it or not – the contributions made here on Hoboken411 have had a real impact on the city, and have raised awareness on issues that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. If you disagree – feel free to state your thoughts in the comments section…
What, no party?
Well, I’m not the type that needs to celebrate stuff, and frankly – I’m a bit too busy to have fun these days. Instead, I’ve been working quite hard on some fun little surprises for you guys – and was hoping to have at least some of them ready by today – but I’ve run into more bugs than anticipated – and those will have to wait. “Good things come to those….”
That’s it for now. For the regular readers and contributors – as well as newcomers – thanks for being part of the community!
