On the Hoboken campaign trail…

Working the streets

On a seven-mile walk with Oscar this past Saturday, I bumped into At-large Council candidates Ravi Bhalla and Carol Marsh – campaigning around town with the help of some assistants.

Upon approaching them – Ravi initially said “please don’t take our picture,” but after a little coercing, they agreed to allow it. C’mon Ravi – you’re running for public office! Gotta get used to this!

We shared some campaign small talk about the upcoming election, how busy they’ll be (Marsh: “My husband and children said ‘see you in three months'”) – then said our goodbyes.

Like all of my responses, for my own amusement.

Normal people? What planet do you come from?

That’s a very strange comment. Would you mind explaining what would make them appear more “normal” to you?

Why are you responding to someone who dredged up a thread from over a year ago? Wait, make that 2 threads……LOL

Most of us read this nearly content-free topic and decided not to make superficial conclusions. Misfits? They look like normal people to me.

The fact only 5 people (myself included) commented indicates ZERO interest in this group of misguided misfits.

Ravi doesn’t want his picture taken???? Why?
His advertised banner ad with his picture is already on 411!

Dawn Zimmer should be working at a pet store grooming dogs, not running for mayor.
