Torna Pizza: St. Patty’s Day

3/6/2009:

You will be hungry on Saturday. Call Torna!

For me, Torna Pizza (254 9th St.) is definitely in the top 5 pizza places in Hoboken. (You should try a large pie, extra cheese & fresh garlic. Yum!)

Anyway, I got a pie this week, and taped to the pizza box was a flier that indicated they’d have extended hours on St. Patrick’s Day (10am-3:30am).

Keep in mind that the prices are good, but the size of the pie is just a bit smaller than a typical large pizza parlor pie. Order extra, you’ll be craving it later!

I went to Torna’s on St. Patty’s Day w/my family… was really pissed after waiting about 20 minutes on a very long line that they had jacked up their prices for the day! $3/slice for Torna’s! I bought less than I had wanted because I only left the house w/a couple of bucks.

At least the pizza was delicious.
