Relay for Life – Benefit Concert
American Cancer Benefit
Relay for Life, Hoboken will be holding a benefit concert to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society, next Wednesday, March 4th at the Whiskey Bar in Hoboken. We are sincerely hoping that you will be able to help assist the Relay for Life Volunteer Driven Organizing Committee by helping us spread the word about this event by posting the event details.
Relay for Life is a volunteer driven community event that who’s main purpose is to raise money and awareness about the American Cancer Society and it’s quest to fight cancer. All of the money raised goes directly towards fighting cancer and assisting cancer patients and their care centers with resources such as Hope Lodge – a place to stay near Memorial Sloane Kettering for family members of patients at the hospital. Relay for life is an overnight event in which team members take turns walking around a track to raise money – which is where it gets the “Relay” portion of it’s name. This event will be held on Saturday, May 16 at Pier A Park right in Hoboken. Thank you in advance for any type of support you will be able to provide us with in our fight against cancer and our efforts to educate the community.
