Readerpix: Dogs not allowed

2/28/2009:

Hoboken411 reader nacholibre snapped a quick cell phone pic of the entrance of the Clinton Street CVS – advising me that the Hoboken411 Mascot Oscar was not allowed inside. Not that it matters, I don’t really like that CVS anyway.

[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received! Additional note: Your pictures will have a better chance of being published if they’re in “landscape” mode, as opposed to the taller “portrait” modes… ]

there are health codes that are at play here children. dogs are not permitted everywhere. a business that dispenses pharmacuticals would be one of the places where health codes are in place and enforced. grocery stores, restaurants, and anyplace where the owner chooses to say “no dogs.” why is this a problem? they are pets, not people. and while i like pets more than people, they are not permitted everywhere.

I feel the same way about half-wits. Why can’t we make it a fair fight?

What is it with the war against dogs? How about a war against idiots?

I volunteer to make “No idiots allowed in store” signs.

I love dogs just as much as the next guy, but there are some places they just shouldn’t be…..
