Hoboken Photo of the Day – 2/15/2009

Here’s a quick snapshot of the progress being made at the Maxwell Place Pier between 11th and 12th streets along the Hudson River.

As it stands now – the entire thing is a concrete heaven – however, it seems like some patches of grass may be installed in the future.

That looks terrible. What’s Toll’s fascination with white concerte. Oh yeah it’s cheap.

Why couldn’t they use granite on the walls and curbs and do a little better landscaping to make the space not so barren. we have enough concerte in this town.

I think in light of the total site and the amount of public space the citizens of Hoboken got more than a fair deal here.

Looks like some projects around town are being completed – an election must be coming up. Hey Mr. Mayor Roberts and councilman Cammarano – where is that baseball field you promised the citizens and the children of Hoboken at the Maxwell site? This was to be as give back to the citizens for the hugh scale of development there.
