New Obama National Anthem?

Inspired or worried?
Once again, I missed all the good TV last night – and realized another Obama speech was over after I received a few emails from different readers – some expressing renewed optimism and even inspiration, and others that are plainly worried, with fears that America is not headed down the right road. A “bi-partisan” demographic for sure.
But one Hoboken411 reader found this parody of a new Barack Obama National Anthem interesting:
You can’t win these days, can you?

I’ve been a registered independent but currently am moving from registered Democrat with the form on my desk.
There is often truth in parody. In this case, a full boatload. This is not about animosity on any level. I think Obama is a gifted parser of words, maybe even more than Bill Clinton. But the amount of misinformation and propaganda is frankly nauseating.
How many trillions in spending and taxes to take down the American economy to Zimbabwe will it take for you NOT to view it as some personal animus?
Putting families on the hook for tens of thousands each and spending money that can not be supported if you taxed 100% on the “rich” is competence?
For those still don’t get it, it won’t be long now. Certainly not four years when reality is staring you in the face.

The Honorable Biffy! How delightful of you to appear on this thread!
I had hoped to hear back from you on the St. Patty’s day thread, where you had posted of your very upsetting yet meaningful drunken make-out session with a young lady who, you later found out, exceeded the weight criteria for your drunken make-out session victims. How horrible for you! (If it’s any consolation, I am sure she didn’t enjoy it) In fact, her excess weight so traumatized you, you wrote, that you were FORCED by sheer revulsion to give up drinking “Pinky Shots”! Oh no! You poor dear!

I agree. This Obama fella and his newfangled concept of deficit spending is really disturbing. Honestly where did he come up with this idea? He should look at how it was done before him was fiscal responsibility was not only expected but DEMANDED by conservatives.
I agree with Smart Jones. We are clearly only a year or two away from being just like Zimbabwe.

Now that we’ve seen those leaders of Congress strip out E-Verify from the stimulus package to give jobs to legal residents of the US, we can move on to more important matters and move to legalize the illegal aliens and their families. And liberate those to come to America and join their families.
20 plus million new citizenry should just complete the job.
The American people didn’t put us in power to do nothing. We’re going to do something. Just check out the Saul Alinsky playbook and see how.
CHANGE
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Honorable Biffy, what a fabulous creature you are! The way you sprinkle each post with your vast, erudite vocabulary, namely “fuck”, “fuck” and “fuck”! Marvelous! I can see mommy and daddy’s tuition money has not gone to waste! Your sophistication and mastery of the English language is admirable. Whatever a “Biffy” is, it has made you very, very clever. But you seem to be getting a little upset? A good cry should help, or a “Pinky Shot”. (Oh wait, since you drunkenly made out with that poor young lady, you don’t imbibe).
Maybe a good read will cheer you up, something by that incredible and not one bit crazy or paranoid talent, Ann Coulter. I’ll bet she would make out with a like-minded guy like you, and she’s got to weigh less than 142 lbs! But is she too tall? Maybe if you wear high-heels, you’ll be at (her) eye-level.

Apparently anything that Ron Paul has to say isn’t considered “really substantive” by CNBC.

Biffy B for Mayor, you are SO right!
I lived in Japan for several years- if only the U.S. could adopt their model of universal healthcare! First, their system is NOT socialized medicine; hospitals are privately-owned (by doctors) and citizens are required to purchase national health insurance for a nominal (monthly) fee- much less than the average insurance premium here. So, to your point, not only do all citizens receive healthcare no matter what, but IF they lose their jos, they are STILL covered, and can still get their medications! Zoloft, Xanax, Prozac, Lexapro- you name it!
As a participant, it was absolutely fantastic: cheap, convenient, easy and stress-free. The US would be very wise to adopt this system– if there were any way to conquer the many opposing interests: (pharmaceutical, insurance, healthcare industries). I believe folks of all political stripes can agree our healthcare system sucks, and excessive costs have driven away or destoyed businesses, cost jobs and in the end, the consumer pays. Ever wonder why a Starbucks coffee costs 4 bucks? The CEO provides all full-time and (20 hr min) part-time workers with health insurance.
