Falco sworn in as Police Chief today

6/18/2009:

At Hoboken City Hall today at noon, Anthony P. Falco will be sworn in as new Police Chief of the Mile Square. Mayor Dave Roberts had selected Falco as his choice for new chief, but had met “political” delays. Also on hand for the swearing-in ceremony will be his daughter Sgt. Melissa Gigante and son-in-law Officer Vito Gigante.

2/4/2009:

Once Police Chief Carmine LaBruno retired, the city of Hoboken had to call the civil service examination to choose a new Chief. (The current acting chief is Robert Lisa)

Below is a list of the top five scores.

One Hoboken411 reader said: “While one would assume they would choose Anthony Falco, the city can actually pick any of the top 3 people on the list to be Chief. It should be interesting to see if Dave Roberts tries to skip Falco. Personally, I think Roberts should allow the council or next mayor to appoint the chief…”

I found the alleged t-shirt on the Internet but didn’t get the joke. The best guess I can make is that the wearer of such a shirt would be saying he shaved his area in order to convince someone to give him a BJ, but the BJ was so bad it wasn’t worth the itching.

At least it wasn’t a bumper sticker. You could have an accident trying to figure that one out while you drive.

I am not making this up. Three friends of mine had dinner at Trattoria Saporito on Friday night. Falco walked into the place wearing a t-shirt that read (again not making this up) “I Shaved My Balls For This”. If this is some sort of inside Italian joke, please enlighten me. I suspect it is not and just another shining example of the trash that runs this city. I would not believe their story until we compared the man they saw with photos online. It was our guy.

He was going nuts in his office so he had to get out for a while, he tested cals hotdogs and thought he’d like to play with his dog and balls at the park after which he got a sack of nuts and put them in a bag he then found his long lost jewels and hid them in a teabag, after that he put on a nutty shirt and headed over to the bar for a drink!

“If this is some sort of inside Italian joke, please enlighten me”. Utoh something wrong with being Italian? Are you sure it wasn’t his son? Although I agree crap runs this city, I do not agree on sterotyping anyone.

By the way, he has caused us a lot of fuel costs by using the HFD’s little fireboat to cruise up and down the river for his own enjoyment at Hoboken Taxpayer’s expense. Since he lives in Hasbrouck Hts., he does not show much respect in many areas for giving our taxpayers what they deserve…professional service. Oh well, just another Mayor Roberts’ apointee…..

Re. 50,52 & 53 – Bergin has to go. He attended the FD annual picnic under the tent due to rain almost all day. He was not there for the promotion of our police Chief. He was totally deficient in performing his duty. He is still the Public Safety Director and has shown that he has no sense of professional behavior because he is still a spoiled little boy who could not get his way since he was not for the promotion. Due to the delay in the ceremony he could have easily been at the real big event and attended the picnic as well. I hope that he took a vacation day! LOL. He again proved that he cannot make proper decisions. Also, he may have caused the city a lot of money by his unauthorized actions. Remember, after July 1, he does not have Mayor Roberts to protect and cover up for him.
