From http://www.acuratings.org/
The American Conservative Union’s rankings of legislators in Congress. The sponsor of this bill gets just about a zero score, never takes the ACU’s position. This is on par with Charlie Rangel’s score.
By contrast, Boehner of Ohio got approx. a 94%.
These numbers were posted in 2007.
Now, considering that the liberals and Democrats hated everything to do with Department of Homeland Security and have been trying to shut down Gitmo since 9/13/2001, you tinfoil-hat crackpots want us to believe that this ultra-liberal from Florida want to create re-education camps, right out of Stalinist Russia, or maybe the movie “Red Dawn.”
Hello, you stupid, dipshit idiots — he’s from Florida, which has been annihilated by hurricanes several times in the past few years. Does it ever occur in your sub-gerbil sized gray matter that perhaps, just perhaps, he’s thinking about the possibility of another Hurricane Katrina or Charlie roaring across the state and wiping out the entire Atlantic coastline?
Nah. Can’t be. This is actually an ultra-liberal attempt to re-create Gitmo here, so that weenies with no guns and who wouldn’t know how to use one if given the chance (i.e., liberals) can imprison frothing-at-the-mouth lunatics who have gigantic personal amories and carry .45 S&W’s to Cub Scout meetings (i.e., conservatives).
Lemme make sure I really, truly understand your theory … under cover of night, a smattering of gays, lesbians, vegetarians and people who want to smoke pot are going to forcibly attack, seize, convict and imprison millions of die-hard conservatives, the kinds who teach their five year olds how to shoot and field-dress squirrels and who know how to drop a grizzly bear by the time they’re 12?
Man, you are some seriously stupid conservatives. Stick to alarm over dancing too close together and shiny patent leather shoes.

no i do not think that is exactly right. after all, the constitution prevents the POTUS from sending troops to any state without the expressed permission of that states Governor. (please note Katrina events.) but the national guard, as established, is under the control of the POTUS i believe? but i do know that the NG has been used by Governors in the past to put down domestic uprisings. (see kent state massacre). either way, the NG is for killing Americans.
