NJ Transit Alerts Updates
For those of you that use the NJ Transit “alerts” system to receive updates about train service in and out of Hoboken, please note the following changes – as announced on Monday:
Important Info about your NJT account
In an effort to improve My Transit alert delivery we will be making slight, but important, changes in My Transit accounts. Effective February 1, 2009, My Transit accounts will be limited to two email addresses. If your account has more than two emails, you will need to consolidate those addresses. You must login to My Transit by February 1 to review your account or it will be considered inactive and will be deleted.
- All My Transit accounts will now be required to include an active, valid Primary Email address.
- All My Transit accounts can include one Mobile/ Secondary email. Customers requesting delivery of alerts to a mobile device (cell phone, pager, or blackberry-type device) should enter that email address(i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org).
- All My Transit accounts must have trips registered. Accounts without trips – that are not also used as Quik-Tik accounts – will be considered inactive and will be deleted.
