Hoboken Garbage Trucks Moan!!
Hoboken’s version of Godzilla
We all understand that the Hoboken recycling trucks certainly need to pick up the noisy bottles at some point during the day. (Gotta “save the environment,” right?)
However, it seems to me that this particular truck, that comes by typically at around 4:30am – doesn’t just make a giant racket with the bottles crashing and clanking in the receptacle, but the TRUCK ITSELF makes the worse noise ever heard by man.
As the truck compresses and crushes the refuse placed inside, it appears that some kind of hydraulic joint or other mechanical aspect of this monstrosity needs greasing. I mean, is it really necessary to add such disturbing noises to the community at this early hour? Can this be fixed in some way?
