NFL Conference Championships Set

1/18/2009 Update:

Today’s winners go to the Super Bowl in two weeks. Who’s your money on?

Four Teams Left!

Round 2 of the NFL playoffs are in the books – and it seems that this is the “Year of the Underdog,” as not only have the two number one seeds been knocked out, but five of the top six seeds overall!)

The biggest story for our area is the local favorite, and Super Bowl champs NY Giants getting humiliated by the rival Philadelphia Eagles, 23-11 (first time in NFL history a score like this was achieved.)

Pick not only who you think will win the two games next Sunday – but which one of the four will win the Super Bowl!!

I just read your post to my b/f furey & he thinks that, instead of blaming the refs, you should look at the 32 points your team gave up, & that 14 play-8 minute drive at the end of the game where you couldn’t get the cardinals off the field.

I don’t follow football, so I have to sort of plagiarizer here.
Eagles were playing on borrowed time this post season…hats off to the Cardinals….a few questionable calls by the refs decided this game, sadly for the Cards…
If Ravens make the Superbowl, i’ll root for the Cardinals…if Steelers make it, I gotta back up my PA team…
