Missing cat “Nine” adopted
As a follow-up to a missing cat story from the beginning of the year:
My name is Nine with a home to call mine
“To update you and your readers, I am happy to inform that little “Nine” as we nicknamed her (for 2009, nine lives, etc) has been adopted by one of our neighbors’ relatives. She was a perfect house guest while she lived in our building and we are happy that she has found a permanent home.
Through your site, I want to thank all our neighbors who called friends and relatives trying to find her a home, to those who helped feed her and to everyone who cared. Not one neighbor in the building complained about having a street cat living in our basement and hallway for a week and a half and it actually brought us together while we cared for her. Nice beginning to the New Year.
Cold, skinny but OK
“My kids and I found this beautiful, but hungry and cold cat tonight when we were walking home after welcoming the New Year. She is a bit thin, but tame and was happy to follow us inside our building. We think someone is missing this kitty and while we fed her and have made her as comfortable as we can in our building’s basement, we have 2 cats already so we’re hoping to find her original home or a new home for her. Please call us at 201-792-7097…”
