Hoboken Photo of the Day – 12/22/2008

Spotted this hand-made sign downtown last week. “We pay so developers can play!! Stop tax abatements! Make them illegal! Take back our town!”

I think I saw Oscar outside Precious & the ACE Hardware store getting a belly rub by someone passing by on Tuesday night.

Hoboken you should just apply for some TARP money from the Treasury, and also swap out their junk bonds with the Fed.

Seems they don’t ask any questions.

Here is the application, all they ask is name, phone number and how much junk you would like to trade in for cash, no questions asked and no ratings on the junk is needed.

They certainly kill the conventional tax payer. Earl Morgan of the Jersey Journal calls them ‘endowments’. Later!
