Readerpix: Hoboken from WTC

12/14/2008:

Hoboken411 reader Brad sent in this picture great picture of what Hoboken looked like from the World Trade Center.

Hoboken411 reader photo of the day – 12/14/2008

“Here’s a shot of Hoboken (and Castle Point) from the South Tower of the WTC. You can see the old Pier C in the front of 333 River Street.
I did not take this photo, and forgot the contact information for the guy who I got it from.”

[Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Readerpix entry! – Note: one reader’s photo(s) will be featured each day at approximately 11am. Unless your photo is time-sensitive – it will be published in the order it was received! Additional note: Your pictures will have a better chance of being published if they’re in “landscape” mode, as opposed to the taller “portrait” modes… ]
a reminder of the Arabs who ruined the lives of tens of thousands of Americans and would do so again in a heartbeat.
Yes, ‘THE Arabs’ are evil. Funny though, ‘THE Arabs’ also happen to own almost one third of NYC (google **one** Arab, Prince Waleed Bin Talal). So basically, if you work in the area, you WORK FOR THE ARABS. How sweet is taht?

I can’t wait for President Barack HUSSEIN Obama to take over! Then ‘THE Arabs’ will have a field day!
Can anything be posted that does NOT stip-up politics??? I personally want to shoot myself for the all the times that I came home via the WTC PATH and looked at the elevators to Windows on the World and told myself, “Next time.” Thanks for this shot, I hope there are more to come.
I’m glad someone appreciated this photo for what it is.

The guy who took the photos posted them to the online Stevens news magazine back in 2001, and I wish I had downloaded more than just this one because it’s a unique perspective lost forever… well hopefully not forever, since the new WTC1 will be the same height when it’s finally finished…

If you considered that intelligent it shows a lot about you as well.
Exactly!
What’s interesting is that a call to keep these forums free of racial bigotry is met with resistance by people like you. The movie poster was a humorous way of responding to the crass and childish taunts by ST.
You guys are hilarious. Strand Tramp didn’t even post till #11, didn’t bring up arabs or anything else, and STILL gets blamed. Ridiculous.
