200 days: Not anymore

12/12/2008:
For quite some time, Hoboken411 has had a “countdown” timer - which was loosely tied to when whomever gets elected in the May 2009 Hoboken Mayoral election gets sworn into office.

The heat will get turned up!
Now that there are only 200 days left in David Roberts’ current term as Mayor of Hoboken, I’ve decided to change the countdown date to Election Day 2009.
With just FIVE MONTHS left till election day - and still no formal announcements on who’s running - now’s the time to start paying close attention to who comes out of the woodwork, who they align with, and what their track record has (or hasn’t) been.
With the bloated budget, mismanagement and over-spending we’ve had to deal with - remember that you’ll be stuck with the next mayor till 2013 - so choose wisely and get everyone you know to vote!!

If Judy Tripodi had established residency…she could be Mayor. Richard Turner did it in Weehawken
