Secrets of Simplicity

3/9/2009 Update:

Congratulations to Hoboken resident and author Mary Carlomango, who was recently on Oprah talking about her latest book “Secrets of Simplicity!”

12/4/2008:

Here’s a great way to buy an excellent Holiday gift – AND support local Hoboken author Mary Carlomango!

Secrets of Simplicity now available

secrets-of-simplicity-mary-carlomango-hoboken-nj.jpgMary says: “I am so happy to announce the publication of my new book, Secrets of Simplicity, available just in time for holiday gift giving.

Guided by the principle that the way you spend your time and money should reflect your true priorities, Secrets of Simplicity shows how to make practical changes to unburden your closets and calendars and make room for what’s really important. Readers can record their successes, as they de-clutter their homes and in the process, their minds.

Thank you so much for your continued support and I hope you enjoy the book!

Mary Carlomagno”

I think this would make a fantastic stocking-stuffer or office grab-bag gift!

Who else has any of Mary’s Books?

Do hope she’s dropped her consulting fees in these “simple” times, tho’….a few years back, she was getting around $100/hr. Good for her mind you, but a tough stretch for many, especially now….[/quote]

undoubtedly no. factor in the “oprah” tax and you’re probably looking at about $150/hr now. 😉

SECOND THAT ! She should’ve invited OPRAH to the parade. Maybe you could’ve got OPRAH drunk and she she could’ve joined the thousands of flashers …eeeek

Re 8.-9.: Salivating, from my very not-secret gustatory simplicity! Won’t you share the recipe, please?

Mary C. is to be commended. She’s a consummate entrepreneur, who has identified a nerve-niche & markets it brilliantly. Especially in these times.

Hopefully, her book reveals enough of her “secrets” w/out a personal consultation & she negotiated a great book contract!
