I’m a realtor and have dealt with lots of lawyers over the years. Daniel Serata was recommended by an associate as my current attorney was on vacation and could not handle the transaction. I reached out to Dan and from the beginning I knew this guy cared. He is a first-class professional. He returns calls, emails and always kept all parties informed on all aspects on the purchase of my clients home which never goes easy.

He also knows his environmental issues. We had septic issues and higher than normal radon results. He took control to make sure all envirionmental were properly remediated.

Oh, by the way, I started using Dan as my “go to” attorney.

Daniel Serata is an exceptional first-class professional attorney on every level of service. He is prompt to return calls, emails and always kept me informed on all aspects on the purchase of my first condo. I know that he kept my best interest first and foremost. I would definately recommend Dan Serata. As I would say, “Dan is the Man” to come to when you need an attorney on your side. The best!

I just closed on a condo and Dan Serata helped to make the whole process easy and painless. As a first time homeowner, i had so many questions and Dan was always there to answer them. Good luck finding another attorney who always takes your calls or calls you back quickly! I completely agree with everything jacmenard had to say…looking forward to working with Dan again.
I have heard numerous horror stories about the ineptitude of attorneys during the closing process. They did not prepare me for this experience. Dan got my closing date wrong every time we spoke, never had my file handy, and seemingly never(although I can’t say for sure) transferred documents or communicated with the seller’s attorney in a timely manner. Whoever is reading this, consider this a favor. I am going out of my way for your benefit.
Dan Serata came highly recommended from a NYC lawyer and managed all of our expectations, which I can’t say about the other lawyers my husband and I dealt with for other properties we owned. In fact, we wished we had Dan Serata’s advice earlier on for our present home. Our original lawyer was satisfactory for the property’s closing, but when problems arose with our apartment, the building’s board and the building’s managment, the original lawyer we used to close on the property was absolutely unhelpful. Thank goodness we found fearless Dan Serata with whom we are very pleased. Dan Serata doesn’t waste any time. He follows up as promised, and we think he is a true professional with the knowledge, confidence and demeanor to tackle tough cases that our original lawyer just didn’t want to get involved with. We’ll be using him again and highly recommend him.

I have worked with Dan when purchasing our first home, condo in Hoboken, and he has been very helpful. He is a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable all around, and goes above the call of duty. He was able to help me close on time, when our date was pushed off by seller and, thanks to Dan, we were still able to move in time. With movers in our old apartment, Dan personally brought the key for our new place just in time for us to make the trip with our things. I am thankful to my friend’s recommendation to go with Dan. Highly recommend.
