New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli published report today stating that NYC has lost 16,000 financial jobs so far and “could lose as many as 225,000 jobs”

Re 1: Strand (& others interested), you might want to check out DiNapoli’s interview today, on the Brian Lehrer show, www.wnyc.org. Lots of interesting issues addressed, including the State pension fund’s investments, re fiduciary responsibility & possible violations.
Any way it’s played, we’re looking at a bleak landscape, for the next few years.
