Hoboken Photos of the Day – 11/23/2008

Thought this would be a great entry for today.

We have two pictures taken from the same location near Maxwell Placeexactly 30 months apart. Hasn’t the Hoboken skyline changed quite a bit?

I looked at a Maxwell Place 2 bedroom unit. It was $1.5 million and the halls reminded me of a college dorm.

…I lived across the street from the old Maxwell Coffee Factory. At least now I have access to the river and have new park space to enjoy. I don’t see how you can argue a factory that was falling apart was a better view than these new buildings and park space. Plus now there’s more parking.

My friend and I took a tour of the place and checked out a Maxwell 2-bedroom– you know, for shits and giggles…

The interior of the building is a step up from the Sheraton.

now for the REAL bad news; your hoboken zoning board, the same crooks who have tried to assist picardo , are the people who approved this project…AND there are 2 mor buildings left to go! yes, the zoning board approved a desnity found nowhere else in this city so that Gans could off load this project to Tolls bros for a $80 million dollar profit in 2 years…and he put almost nothing down! 2 more buildings left. hudson street will be a dark wind canyon. it’s residents are to be walled in and never see the sun again.
please feel free to contanct the hoboken zoning board and thank them.
