Hoboken Photo of the Day – 11/11/2008
This isn’t the most “autumnal” photo in the world – but it goes along with the ShopRite foliage picture another reader had sent in a few days ago.
The main reason I snapped this photo – was because the bushes over at ShopRite Park were all overgrown – and we all know how crappy an overgrown bush is, right? Anyway – as you can see from the background – the leaves on those trees in that (probably contaminated) lot had already died a quick death.
Who wants to play some chess?

PS – if you have images collecting dust on your camera or hard drive – send them in for eventual inclusion on Hoboken411! Please state how you’d like to be credited in your email, and a description – if desired!!

Those bushes are even bigger now. Who takes are of that place? It’s not even a park, it’s a dog toilet for all the pet owning neighbors near by.

If that’s a park, the dump I just took is a pier.

Actually 9, you are correct. Any minute now Roberts will be knocking at your door for the ribbon cutting. Don’t flush.
