William Howard Home

Important Note: William Howard Home shared this space with “Hoboken Hothouse Home & Garden” which is remaining open and NOT closing!

William Howard Home leaving retail space in Hoboken, NJ

William Howard Home announced that they’re leaving 120 Washington St. at the end of the week to focus more on their online business.

Apparently the overhead for a brick & mortar business is a bit too much these days in the Mile Square (and there wasn’t even a houseware lunch truck to disrupt them!)

For the rest of this week – everything in the store is 50% off (and more!)

They thank all their customers for their support over the past three years.

William Howard Home moving to 120 Washington Street

4/26/2011 Update:

Tonight’s public safety meeting about the Hoboken crime increase is being held at William Howard Home (138 Park Avenue). But did you know that today’s is also the last day that William Howard Home will be at that location?

Starting May 1st, they’ll have a new home at 120 Washington Street (former home of the doomed Nutrition Zone).

Moving sale – 20% off – plus Hoboken Hothouse Home & Garden

“Yes, We are packing up and moving to 120 Washington Street!! We will be in the new space on Sunday May 1st. Tuesday 4/26 is our last day and we will be offering 20% off everything in the store including sale items! We simply don’t want to pack it all up!

William Howard Home will be sharing their new space with “Hoboken Hothouse Home & Garden” owned by Karen Nason. Karen use to own “The King and I” for over 13 years on 26th & 6th in the Plant district in NYC. She use to be known as the “Plantlady” to the stars with great clients such as Johnny Depp, Lauren Hutton and David Bowie to name a few. Karen recently moved to Hoboken from Soho.”

I thought it was a beautiful store, and the greenery outside added to the ambience, which
made Washington Street look alot nicer than it is!!!

Maybe they are going out of business because when I specfically walked up there today to have a look around and it was CLOSED. At noon.

I remember over the summer, and ranted about this – the lady sitting outside having her own little “happy hour” sipping campagne on the sidewalk full of all of her shit that had spilled onto Hoboken’s already cramped sidewalks. Good riddance.

Looks like the citizens of Hoboken will have THEIR sidewalk back.

You are a jackass. REALLY??? Was it THAT inconvenient for you to have to walk through 10 feet of greenery? I repeat, you are a jackass.
Looks like the citizens of Hoboken will have THEIR sidewalk back.
I was in that area over the weekend. I saw the for rent sign. I felt badly. I thought they too were going out of business. I’m glad to hear they are just relocating. The owner is nice. It’s just such a great store.

A perfect place for holiday shopping with just days to go, a warm and delightful selection of things for the home, all priced reasonably. Once you step inside the store you truly feel like you have been teleported from Hoboken to Nantucket. Friendly atmosphere.
