Sarah Palin Pranked

11/3/2008:

Apparently – two radio DJ’s from Canada pranked Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin recently. It was supposedly confirmed, too!

It sounds like Palin was so giddy and excited by her recent “rise to fame,” that she (and her campaign folks) – couldn’t tell the difference between what’s real and what isn’t.

While they made a few obvious comments (like killing animals) – it could have been done a lot better.

yeah – is it really worth arguing with someone who would support voting for people who are anti-abortion but pro-capital punishment when the church is against both?

Is there really anyone who thinks Palin is a good choice for VP? I’m not saying a “better than” choice. I’m saying, on her own merits, does anyone believe Palin was a good choice for vice president? I don’t. I don’t even know if she’s better than Biden (who was also a blindingly stupid choice IMO).
Palin would make a business suit model before a qualified Vice-Prez in my eyes.

One of my friends is extremely religious, and she loves Sarah Palin because of her stance on abortion. She wrote a long note on Facebook about how all Catholics need to support her or admit that they’re hypocrites.
For someone with “Christian values”, Palin most certainly does a horrible job of lovingly supporting her family. It is sickening to hear Palin bark for a cause (“children with special needs”) and do the complete opposite (exploit her kids for the sake of political fame, all the while not even being there for her own special-needs child).

Her main point was that the chuch views abortion as intrinsically evil, and a good Catholic would support the candidate who is doing the most (or would do the most) to end the practice. She admits that McCain is imperfect because of his views on stem cell research, but considers him the lesser of two evils.
yeah – is it really worth arguing with someone who would support voting for people who are anti-abortion but pro-capital punishment when the church is against both? it’s just not worth the time or effort. they feel strongly about it, that’s fine. but I think it’s sad that people think they can vote on an issue that should be lower in the priority of how to… Read more »
