More confusing Hoboken signs!

10/23/2008:

Hoboken411 reader Cyclewag tipped me off on this silly set of signs near Maxwell Place.

What difference does it make if I can’t walk?

“There is a another new confusion crazy group of signs at Maxwell; located where the new north/south road on Maxwell property runs north into 12th at the shipyards!”
…and the other sign says use crosswalk, something most in this town wont understand cause they just cross where they wish and then proceed to post on here complaining that they almost got run over…
So when drivers pretty much cover up the crosswalk, where, blahblahblah, can I cross?

I was thinking of performing a flying-kick combo of sorts, rolling my body onto and off a car. You know, to make my Sensei proud, but mainly to show entitled drivers that a crosswalk is NOT a look-out point– especially not when a STOP sign is in clear-view. 🙄

they are only confusing cause you people just dont understand english or use your head….the sidewalk was at one point not usable during construction….so it says cross the street and use other side…shame on the developer for not taking it down…and the other sign says use crosswalk, something most in this town wont understand cause they just cross where they wish and then proceed to post on here complaining that they almost got run over…
