8th Annual Fall Harvest Festival
Due to Hoboken411’s crack weather forecast – Fall Harvest Festival organizers thought it’d be best to re-schedule for SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26TH!!
This Saturday – October 25th, 2008 – at Pier A Park (1st and Sinatra Drive):
The 8th Annual Fall Harvest Festival
(I didn’t want to put that horrific flier that the city provided as the only promotional piece for this glorious festival – so I whipped a better one up in 10 minutes.)
Pumpkin (and FACE) Painting, Hay & Pony Rides, a wacky “Hay Maze,” Sand Art, the fabulous “Moonwalk,” the Trackless Train, Storytelling (the non-city hall kind), Live Music and more!
Free gut-busting hot-dogs, hamburgers and soda pop too! Since this event was “sponsored” by the Hoboken Board of Education – shouldn’t they be serving nice FILET MIGNON and CABERNET at least? I kid, I kid!!! Or do I?
Anyway – Performing jovial songs of Autumnal pleasure will be “The Second Fiddles” and “Blue Harvest.”
However, 411 recommends getting there early
Forecasts as of Wednesday night – indicated that there may be a healthy period of fall rain… When this message was composed, the rain was predicted to begin around 2pm… so get the “harvest” out of your system early! Save the rest of it for indoor activities!!
