Another dangerous intersection

10/22/2008:

Remember that dreadful intersection at Harrison & Paterson mentioned last week?

Well Hoboken411 reader Brian thinks this “new” intersection near Maxwell Place is a deadly accident waiting to happen:

Absurd blind intersection

“I saw your post on the most dangerous intersection and I am quite sure that I have found it. If you go to the T-intersection of 12th Street and what I am guessing is Sinatra Drive (the NE Corner of 1125 Maxwell Place on the waterfront) you will find what has to be the most dangerous intersection in the city. Traffic proceeding east down 12th Street (towards the water) makes a blind left around the Shipyard building without any stop sign directly into traffic moving south down Sinatra Drive who also has no stop sign! It is like the city wants to have horrific accident.

It is absurd and unnecessary!”

Good point, didn’t consider the suitcase benefit. So we’ll accept a ridding of parking woes at the sacrifice of a few airheads…

That’s a possibility, but at least the parking problem would be solved when your car transforms into a suitcase.

But then drivers of bubble propulsion would just take off the heads of pedestrians

I think the Jetsons method works better
