HobokenCares on a mission to Jamaica
Hoboken Cares is hosting a wine tasting in Hoboken to raise money in support of our mission trip to Kingston, Jamaica to work with the children of Mustard Seed Communities.
We are blessed to spend one week each year with the amazing children and caregivers of Mustard Seed, an organization that runs homes for abandoned children in developing countries. Our trip is 100% funded by the generosity of our friends, families and community, and the people of Mustard Seed rely on donations from groups like ours for the most basic needs. The need is especially great this year, as Hurricane Gustav did some serious damage to some of the Mustard Seed homes in Kingston. Our main project this year will be rebuilding!
So please come out for a good time for a GREAT cause! Details are as follows:
Wednesday 10/22, $40 for 2 hours of tasting and light appetizers. Please bring cash or a check made out to: Mustard Seed Communities.
A Chinese Raffle will be done during the tasting for some great prizes, including a weekend in the Poconos! Tickets are $5 each.
Look out for our other events or visit our secure fundraising page.
Hope to see you there!
