Ahhhhhhh, the good old days. Hoboken sucks these days, No one knows each other, and today its all about complaining what everyone else is doing. Lets all get drunk and complain about the city, PD, FD, Parking, my dog needs this, the schools need that, My life sucks so let me bitch about others. Hey the St Paddys day parade it coming up so fuck it all!!!! it’s about getting drunk and stupid so we can bitch about the cops and the fire dept being ass holes.

Er, just ’cause the people are smiling in the pictures doesn’t mean that times were good back then.
I do have to say, though, that it’s nice to see older structures in this photo. I’m kinda tired of carbon-copy modern condos. They lack charm.
Thanks for sharing such lovely memories, Rob!

I think we need to play the “where was the photo taken” game. We will need Rob to verify!

The 60s is going to be impossible because hundreds of buildings in 07030 look like that, but the 50s is really pissing me off because it looks so familiar and I can’t place it.

my guesses
40’s – washingotn park, union city or Columbus not sure
50’s – 7th and Wahington across from Vitos
60’s – 5th and garden
70’s – near former sunken barge
