Still need to register to vote?

10/14/2008 FINAL REMINDER:

Jeff Barnes, Chairman of the Hoboken Democratic Committee emailed Hoboken411 and said:

“I saw your post on the voter registration deadline–thanks for publicizing that.

As a follow-up, I wanted to let you know that the Hoboken Democratic Party will have numerous volunteers outside the PATH station and the downtown Starbucks to register voters today and tomorrow. We will be out there until 7:00 pm TUESDAY, 10/14/2008, at which point we will hand deliver the registration forms to the county clerk in Jersey City before the 9:00 pm deadline. Let all your readers know they have an easy way to register before it’s too late!”

10/13/2008:

TOMORROW is the deadline to register to vote in New Jersey!

Evening hours should be in effect

According to the State website, each office should have evening hours tomorrow – and be open till 9pm. I tried calling them today – but I believe they’re closed for the holiday. To be on the safe side, call them tomorrow to confirm.

See other news about the ACRON investigation after the jump…

In other news… ACORN under investigation

CNN reported today that Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN — already faces allegations of filing fraudulent voter registrations in Nevada and faces investigations in other states.

They found at least 5,000 obviously fake registration forms!

But it is lovely how you remain as blindly partisan as ever. You get a gold star for injecting the phrase “irrational hatred of George Bush” into the conversation.
and by the way, let me point out how you sound like a patronizing twit when you make comments like “you get a gold star.” because, like many of your lib. compatriots, you can’t handle the fact that someone could actually support policies you disagree with, so you make opaque references to the person’s intelligence level by saying they “remain as blindly partisan as ever”

not partisan, fool. you’re dripping in irony when you make comments like that. you couldn’t identify one good thing George Bush did and you imply that you aren’t blindly partisan.

what a freakin joke you are. 🙂

”they?” that must mean you are part of a “they.” a logical person would figure that ALL Americans would have a problem with the most fundamental American right being tarnished like this. i guess this pretty much proves that your deep, irrational hatred for George Bush (who still only has vague tenuous criticisms thrown at him) has caused you to want to win at all costs, including cheating. kind of pathetic, actually.
It’s so fascinating that someone as virtuous as yourself would focus so intently on voter fraud that helps Democrats, while remain silent on voter fraud that helps Republicans. Kinda funny that you’re not bothered by both, isn’t it?

People across the political spectrum do shady things and every election is probably way more crooked than we like to think. And all of it should stop, whether it’s disenfranchising people in Florida because their name is the same as an ex-convict, or fraudulently signing up the members of the Dallas Cowboys in Nevada.

agreed. again with your rampant assumptions. but i go by facts. it’s a fact that obama is in bed with acorn who has committed rampant voter fraud which is in states that will decide the election. i know nothing about ex-convicts in florida. perhaps the ex-convicts being “disenfranchised” are actually ex-convicts. give me some facts.
