Might be helpful to see some updated pictures of what the outside of columbian towers looks like today with the crumbling sidewalks. Don’t own a camera or I’d do it myself. Seems H411 makes rounds of the city often and it might be nice to see what residents are actually complaining about. I think we’ve seen enough menus, food trucks, vacant stores, and pizza shop photos. People walking the streets and seniors are affected here.
Just a suggestion.

Seniors & Disabled at Columbian Towers showed courage for speaking out,
hoping things are progressing.
Assume issues being addressed now,
is that why comments Quieted down?
Sidewalks remain hazardous & hoping
they are a work in process to be completed
before bad weather sets in.

Where is waldo! Remember the game. Well my friends, Lets start with out front of 76 bloomfield st, it’s a garbage drop zone. You see across the street, a super with a hose washing down side walk. Up the block, same thing. All except there at 76. So we asked around, Where is super,? Like these other guys? Well most will say, he is helping Moe. Huh? He is not a super? He is a medical aide? Didn’t Moe use the cleaning people to clean his house from HUD funds? Now the super is his aide? So we will call him, WHERE IS WALDO. Ok. Waldo can be seen most morning’s near courthouse in jersey city in Moe s car. About the time he starts work as Waldo,(super). Then he can be seen riding around city. Never at 76 bloomfield till late in day. Oh Waldo, the elevator broke again this weekend. Oh Moe can be that up at city meetings. Back to the front of building, Moe had a guy for years, George do this work, It did look good as you passed. Now the lights are broke, lay on there side, The garbage is all over. The grass is weed whacked, instead of mowed. Its shameful, and waste of Gov cash to look after this place. Building had a few deaths this month, So there was few sick people. More then a few on daily day. There lives are disrupted by fire boxes enforcements. Its very disturbing to… Read more »

These events at Colunbian Towers has Orwellian proportion: positively evil 👿 MOE from Wikipedia for those who don’t remember the Novel ” 1984″ Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJump to: navigation, search This article is about the Orwell novel. For other uses, see 1984 (disambiguation). Nineteen Eighty-Four British first edition cover Author(s) George Orwell Country United Kingdom Language English Genre(s) Dystopian, political fiction, social science fiction Publisher Secker and Warburg (London) Publication Nineteen Eighty-Four (sometimes written 1984) is a 1948 dystopian fiction written by George Orwell about a society ruled by an oligarchical dictatorship. The Oceanian province of Airstrip One is a world of perpetual war, pervasive government surveillance, and incessant public mind control. Oceania is ruled by a political party simply called The Party. The individual is always subordinated to the state, and it is in part this philosophy which allows the Party to manipulate and control humanity. In the Ministry of Truth, protagonist Winston Smith is a civil servant responsible for perpetuating the Party’s propaganda by revising historical records to render the Party omniscient and always correct, yet his meager existence disillusions him to the point of seeking rebellion against Big Brother. As literary political fiction, Nineteen Eighty-Four is considered a classic novel of the social science fiction subgenre. Since its publication in 1949, many of its terms and concepts, such as Big Brother, doublethink, thoughtcrime, Newspeak, and memory hole, have become contemporary vernacular. In addition, the novel popularised the adjective Orwellian, which refers to lies, surveillance, and manipulation of… Read more »

Your right Hoboken 54. Where is Mr. Sasso and Mr. Pellegrino, we were promised that they would go into every apt. to check once a month for bedbugs. Nothing has been done. They put up an extermination scheduled for us that doesn’t include bedbugs. The guy comes here a 1:00 has lunch with Mr. Degennaro’s staff and doesn’t start working until 2:00 PM. So, they are exterminating untill 5 or 6 PM when most people are cooking dinner. It is a shit show in this place. I think it is time to contact Govener Christie I think he would be interest in what goes on with HUD money.

The newbies think its bad when a dog craps on the side walk or the pizza is too thick, they should have been in hoboken in the 50’s and 60’s. Those were some rough times and the main reason i fled the place if I stayed I would been employed by the state making lic. plates. Ralph Picardo, yes shitheads brother, tried to beat me out of some $$$$ and I had to adjust his attitude and then I said WTF am I doing here and got out. I have mixed feelings about the newbies they are a real good thing for hoboken. If they didn’t move in, hoboken would make newark look like the garden of eden. And I am just jealous of what they did and hope they continue the effort. But your move south is a good move—- face it our hoboken is gone.[quote comment=”209259″]escape 68 remember when henry got held up and the jerk off shot him and the round hit his pen?? my daddy worked at kealey school and dannys pine bar made good burgers .I gotta call sibby so he can tell you ..When jansen the class two cop stopped a hold up in a liquor store and tommy de pasqualls wife got hit with the stray bullet? the newbees think this town is crime free.remember the east LA crew rob the beverely hillls crew in spite of all the anti crime divices…sib and i worked together for at least 10 years..his brothers were… Read more »
