Will we flood? Is it just another boy crying wolf? You predict!
Despite the efforts of the local water utility, and PSE&G who have been working on the sewer system on Madison from 9th to 10th streets, it still flooded this morning. Crews were out there for the past 2 days, tearing up the ground (and releasing an awful smell into the air) trying to get the problem solved, but the rain came too soon.

Let’s hope they get it right for the next big storm!
A minor inconvenience this morning, street was back to normal by the time I left for work a little later in the a.m.

I was (pleasantly) shocked this morning that Newark St. wasn’t underwater. With all the rain I heard last night, I expected the worst.
