The jumper is back?

9/18/2008:

Listen in to the Hoboken411 Live Police and Fire radio.

Remember that jumper a few weeks back that plunged into the Hudson River from (the yet-to-be-completed) Pier C?

Well, apparently he’s back. A lady traveling along Sinatra Drive – said that there appears to be someone ready to jump into the Hudson. Police dispatch said “The guy that likes jumping into the Hudson seems to be at it again – near Pier A, or Sinatra Park, or the Fishing Pier, etc….”

At this time, police can’t find the guy (maybe he sunk?) and they’re “giving it a few minutes” to see if they can spot him.

Let the guy jump already. Who cares. Aren’t there better things for the police to take care of?
FYI – Hoboken Marine One, NY Harbor Patrol, and Jersey City’s marine unit were all around there looking – nothing found.

They gave up at returned back.

So if you’re walking along the river – keep your eyes open just in case there’s a “floater.”
ick, why would someone enjoy jumping in the hudson?
