Recent hot topics reminder!

9/16/2008:

As many of you can tell, the topics flow like the Salmon of Capistrano on Hoboken411, and often fall off the home page (unless it appears in the recent comments section).

So you can find them with minimal effort, here’s a little reminder of what’s been hot as of late:

Hot Topics on Hoboken411

Naturally, you can always use the Hoboken411 Google Search box on the upper right – and also find the Last 100 Entries on both sidebars as well.

[This has been a public service announcement from Oscar.]

You got it. And I agree. It’s all a symptom of the same pathology. And there are many people outside of that neighborhood who care, and who attend the meetings, and fight the fight instead of just talking about it on here. Yes, I’ve seen the repetitive posts on here, but I think it’s as palpable as the deafening silence from the apathetic.

Colonblow,

Matt is pigeon for the Hoboken political machine. He follows me everywhere I go on here – thanks for calling him out as such.

Matt — IMHO you’re a person without passion a person that can’t do anything about anything so you crap on others.

YOU ARE WHAT IS WRONG WITH HOBOKEN! You *think* this is a little thing, in reality it is the ENTIRE PROBLEM WITH HOBOKEN. You’re just too much of a sucker to see it.

Thanks again Colon.
Reformer, are you serious? “Possibly abusing his power of office”? All this poster is trying to do is remind people and inspire them to keep up the effort. We know all too well people give up easily. So why poo poo this’s person’s efforts? Look at the big picture RG – it’s ugly and this precedent needs to stop. And it won’t if we all stay asleep.
One post was plenty……we didn’t need 30 reminders of a meeting that means almost nothing to anyone who doesn’t have a veiw of that building. It sucks what he is doing, the state should have investigated long ago, lawyers should probably sue the city on behalf of the neighbors, Picadillo (or whatever his name is) should be removed from office, etc… But that still doesn’t change the fact that nobody more than a block away cares all that much. There are much bigger issues in Hoboken to deal with compared to this small fry. And if the mayor gets the boot & we get a couple more reformers on the council (even if they fued like 2 year olds), this tool in the tax office will be completely unable to continue with any of his funny business. He is a symptom of a larger problem, but not a problem in and of itself……
