Incredibly ironic parking violator

9/13/2008:

A Hoboken411 reader sent in this email yesterday – filed under “Parking – City Offender Zone.”

Guess who’s truck this is!

“Kinda funny isn’t it, that several conscientious citizens were awaiting the arrival of the street sweeper this past Monday morning attempting to obey the law, only to be greeted by this vehicle at the northwest corner of 1st and Bloomfield.

Not only is it parked DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO THE CROSSWALK, but also with it’s left side wheels ON THE SIDEWALK. And the irony is???? The vehicle belongs to John Corea, the Director of The Hoboken Parking Utility! The very agency empowered with enforcing the parking laws that these residents were attempting to obey.

Think about these photos next time you are scrambling to find a LEGAL parking spot or when you get a parking ticket.”

[411 note: Sure, you might say “big deal, it doesn’t look too bad,” but we’ve all seen other vehicles receive tickets for the same violation.]

I’m sure it’s one of Corea’s many parking assistants that parked the SUV like that. They have to be on the payroll for doing something! You think Fat Cat Corea drives and parks his SUV himself?

It takes (or rather, took) a lot of vehicle to transport all those quarters down to Toms River for counting. Heck, with anything less than a full size truck you run the risk of some of the quarters falling out along the way![/quote]

Mystery solved!

If you want this nonsense to change, register to vote & then vote. It’s the only way.

Rumor has it that Corea is under investigation with a possible impending indictment. Fingers crossed….

Corea redefines pond scum. Far below a bottom-feeder. (To mix metaphors.) Ditto w/Al A., Joe P. & the whole rogues gallery that’s responsible for where we’re at now.

Register to vote, folks. Get these numbskulls out!
