More on the 9/11 Flame Memorial

9/4/2008:

Remember how the 9/11 Memorial at Pier A park was held together with shipping tape?

Well, they sort of fixed it, but now it has gobs of Krazy Glue dripping down the sides. Fantastic.

If the city can’t fix a simple monument without tape and glue, do you think they should borrow $4 million dollars for another one?
Well, at least they’re getting there.

All someone needs to do is go there with a razor blade scraper and maybe some paint thinner to clean it up and it will be fine.
I’d say there’s a better chance of someone trying to sniff it off. 😯
Jeebus…is it really that hard to read the mixing instructions on the back of the epoxy package? Looks like someone went a little light with the hardener.
Back in my youth the kids getting services from the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired used to say… (I know the begging is not original.)

Those who can, do.
Those who can’t, teach.
Those who can’t teach, teach Phys Ed.
Those who can’t teach Phys Ed, teach mobility.
****** here is the Hoboken addition ******
Those who can’t teach mobility, work for Hoboken (fill in department here).

I still have a letter from Mayor Roberts thanking me for my donation for the 9/11 Memorial. I guess he spended it already.
