More on the 9/11 Flame Memorial

9/4/2008:
Remember how the 9/11 Memorial at Pier A park was held together with shipping tape?
Well, they sort of fixed it, but now it has gobs of Krazy Glue dripping down the sides. Fantastic.
If the city can’t fix a simple monument without tape and glue, do you think they should borrow $4 million dollars for another one?

Jeebus…is it really that hard to read the mixing instructions on the back of the epoxy package? Looks like someone went a little light with the hardener.

Maybe that’s not globs of glue and it’s supposed to sybmolize tears.
We could only hope.

I still have a letter from Mayor Roberts thanking me for my donation for the 9/11 Memorial. I guess he spended it already.

Well, at least they’re getting there.
All someone needs to do is go there with a razor blade scraper and maybe some paint thinner to clean it up and it will be fine.
