8/28/2008 Update:
One of the agents said:
“We are open for business. We had a one month restructuring period so the office was temporarily closed. We were still actively selling and managing during that period though. Now we are Focusing mainly on investment type properties, rentals and property management. We still do condo sales and rentals of course. At Elite Brokers Property Management LLC we are trying to differentiate ourselves from all the other shops in town.”
4/30/2008 Update:
Not sure what the deal is here, but all of last week, the place was closed. Another doomed business?

A few Saturdays ago. I randomly got a call from another real estate agency in town. I was asked if I was interested in purchasing a condo on Madison Street. I also was asked if I knew of anyone who would be interested. The agent then proceeded to tell me the real estate market in Hoboken is not as bad as everywhere else. I responded by saying if that were the case,you wouldn’t be cold calling people and solicting to sell properties.

I don’t want to get off the topic,but is the pawnshop still on washington st between 2nd and 3rd,?

#21: You definately need to venture out more often (Just Teasing) That pawn shop has been gone for many moons. It moved to Jersey City. That’s even if they’re still around.
