Benefiting the Hoboken Homeless Shelter: Wednesday, December 3rd from 7-10 pm at "Teak on the Hudson" for our silent auction to benefit the Hoboken Homeless Shelter... we have the 2nd floor to ourselves with half price drinks & complimentary appetizers passed around... last year's event turned out to be a festive party with 250 people in attendance to kick off the start of the holiday season... we have about 60 items lined up for silent auction bidding including artwork, ipods, golf clubs, jewelry, watches, dinners for two, manicures, massages, sports tickets, photo sittings, theater tickets, personal training sessions, gift baskets, toys & more... And all of the money goes to those who are less fortunate & much in need of our help... at 7:00 pm

That’s the knock on Facebook from everyone who doesn’t understand what it is. “Oh, you spend more time on your fake Facebook friends than doing things with your real ones in real life!” But Facebook is a good way for staying in touch with people - it’s put me in contact with lots of people I wouldn’t have been otherwise (which has led to doing stuff together in real life).

H411, why aren’t you on there promoting your site?
