Beware of hair-cutter?

8/19/2008:
Here’s another instance of “Street poles are the new MySpace.”
Like a previous relationship gone bad, this recent sign generated some comments on the Emanuel’s Salon entry.
Figured it deserved its own post, as this stylist may or may not be working there anymore.

Everytime I walk by this place, I think of those Emmanuell movies that use to be on Cinamax at like 1am on Saturday nights. Me, I was 11 years old, just finding out what it was like to be a man. I thank you Emmanuell!!!

Is there a higher category than TMI?

No where near as whacky as the “Dan the cheating rapist” flyers - but a good laugh.
How much time & money do you think this person spent on the flyers? I bet they worked real hard to get the collage of cheesy pics perfect. I love the photo in the center!

At risk of infection JUST because he doesn’t have a license? That is like saying you are going to have a car accident because you don’t have a drivers license. It doesn’t mean you will get an infection for sure, it just takes some common sense to clean your equipment, more likely to just get a bad hair cut.

I imagine during the licensing process you learn about things like avoiding infections, burns, etc.

Hey 411. Why blur out this guys name but not his face?

I’ve had so many bad haircuts in Hoboken (a couple at Emanuel’s) that I’m thinking this guy may be a master of disguise!

I was going to him for about 6 months but stopped in June. He sucked and also does not pay attention. He was too busy giving juice-a-nation orders to his receptionist. I was told that he was opening up another salon in Hoboken with another stylist at Emanuels. Beware.

Yes, those gals are hot — especially that Irena. Yum.
And they’re really good. I’ve been going to Lisabeth @ Roma for years — never get a bad haircut.

I go to Chris at the Beauty Parlour now. He rules.

Well according to the salon’s website, the name of the stylist on the flyer is Anthony Fonseca. I checked the website earlier today and his name was still on it, but now mysteriously “POOF!” his name has been removed.
I guess he no longer works there.
As the famous verse in the Bible says: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

My personal opinion says that he is not gay. Gays usually are gifted artists who have style and class. This joke of a stylist lacks not only this, but also has horrible fashion taste. He did my hair one time and left it uneven and the color was dull and drippy and by a look at the photos on the flyer it also looks like he has committed numerous crimes against fashion. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was given a written citation by the fashion police.
