Pre-fixe lunches start at $13 and dinners from $23. Two restaurants from NJ Monthly’s Top 25 restaurants are participating: Ox & Edwards Steakhouse in Jersey City.

we must have hit it. The only hiccup was that one meal took about 2 minutes to come out after the other 5. Other than that we all liked our meals. They were out of the wine we wanted but suggested a nice bottle instead. I didn’t know that about the roof when I made the reservation but good for me that I made it for 7! I like restaurant week – gives me a reason to try something new. Love OX and would go back there again. Any others in JC that I should try?

yes, I live down the street from it now, the food is kinda hit and miss. They do have a good brunch and the roof top is open but from 5-7 its for drinks, then they kick everyone off except for diners until 9 and then again reopen for drinks until 11.

had a great dinner on the roof at Skinner’s Loft last night. $25 pp for a 3 course meal. Well worth it and nice to try something new out of Hoboken.
