I went to French Nails the week after it opened, and felt that it was very clean, obviously since it is new, nad I was very surprised to feel that when I was getting my pedicure that it was actually a jelly pedicure, whcih was awesome. I was charged $21.50, because it was during the grand opening special. Well after telling many friends how awesome it was I went back today, Septmeber 5th, with a friend I had told about the pedicure, only to be told that those pedicures were only a promotion. We were not concerned about the price or anything we just really wanted to have that specific pedicure. I am unsure if they still offer them or not. I assume they do since they advertise they do. If anyone knows could you please post a comment and also list the price??
On the whole the place is ok. They were very accomodating with the stroller my friend and I had wit us and were very seet to the baby. I was/am just disappointed that I was not offered the same pedicure. I think they will get many people who will not return after their second vist….

I visited French Nails, last Monday after work, and there were only 2 manicurists there. The place is nice, but small, and the “waxing room” is behind a frosted wall! Privacy is not an option. The prices are high – $25 for a pedicure, $10 for a manicure, but they have a “Grand Opening special” that takes 15% off any service.

The manicure/pedicures were just okay – definitely not worth $35 though. I swear I saw them cut my cuticles, but after I left, they were still there. Just an awful job in that regard.

One last complaint: they play Christian Rock. This is not something you expect to hear in a nail salon – nor do I want to. I was there to relax, not to be bombarded with songs about religion (nothing wrong with it, but most women go to relax, and zone out – something I was unable to do).

I decided I wouldn’t go back, unless I was desperate. What a shame, I was really looking forward to this place, but I’m really disappointed.
