Hoboken Election Year

You know it’s a Hoboken Election year when…

Stuff that is broken almost always – all of a sudden begins to work! Once every four years or so – it’s yet another Hoboken Election Year (for “mayor” and council at-large). Hence why the fountain at Pier A Park is working – despite extended outages in the past.

Amazing how people forget the other three years when everything is crap.

At least you still have the over-abundance of bike lanes and other stifling “control measures” to gripe about!

But it doesn’t matter. “mayor” don Zimmer will get elected again. So nothing to see here, move along, carry on, etc.

Conceived and launched in 2006, the original Hoboken Photo of the Day category contains thousands of pictures and includes many other subsections, including Drunk Bread Crumbs, HDR Photography, Hoboken Digital Art, and more.

We feel that by photo-documenting the city of Hoboken season after season, “a picture is worth 1000 words,” and can tell a myriad of stories encompassing the good, bad and the ugly contained within the mile-square. Our constantly-evolving way of maintaining a historical archive of memories and sights.
