Glad it worked out. Good locksmithing at Hoboken Lock but I do declare I’ve never seen a $100 face there that wasn’t in the register. As luck would have it, tradesmen like to go home at 5PM too.

I could have gotten my lock recylindered. But it was so flimsy (looked like it’d been struck by bullets) and so I decided to get an upgraded bolt.

Hoboken Lock is great. But they wanted to charge me an extra $100 for walking 2.5 blocks AFTER five o’clock. That’s the only time that they were able to come today, and I would have been at work. That meant that the total cost for a visit plus the extra $100 would have amounted to almost $200!

Um, for what?

I got a new lock from Expert Locks . The total for a great lock plus visit came to a bit over $200. But at least I wasn’t charged an extra $100 for the mere sight of someone’s pretty face.

Yeah that is like a $75 dollar job MAX. Don’t feel bad Mooshu I dropped my small wallet with keys, drivers license, credit card, metro card on 2nd St in front of my building the night I saw the rat in the trash can. It wasn;t till the morning I realized it when I couldn’t find my keys to lock the door (had propped door open night before). Anyway there was the small wallet laying right in front of my building all items including $15 were still inside – boy was I lucky!!

Mooshu- Hopefully you can get by with just having the lock recylindered. Shouldn’t be too big a deal. Hoboken Lock is great – been going there without a hitch in 20 years. But they can get busy!

Speaking of “genius”, I left my key in the door, yesterday. Needless to say, they’re gone. But I didn’t discover that they were gone until this morning.

I haven’t lost my keys since I was seven. I swear! 😳
