8/12/2008 Update:
Thanks to Hoboken411 reader Mike for the update and the photo!
NJ Skate Shop opened their Hudson St. shop promptly at noon today!

See location and previous updates after the jump…
(Hoboken’s new skateshop, continued…)
7/24/2008:
Add this to your “new business” watch list:
Board shop coming to Hoboken
You ever what would take the place of Hudson Printing at 91 Hudson Street?
Welp, it’s going to be NJ Skate Shop, uh, a full-service skateboarding shop! It’s apparently their third store, so business is great! (So much for the failed economy, eh?) Buy longs for skateboard manufacturers!
I bet you all cannot wait! Now the cops, who stop by the Skate Park multiple times daily to chase bikers and non-helmet-wearing boarders will have their hands full! Watch the city payroll increase again, plus new positions including “deputy ‘chase kids from skate park’ supervisor” get added to the list!

Description: Full service skateboard shop
Address: 91 Hudson St., Hoboken, NJ 07030
Phone: TBD

That was the first thing I noticed in the picture. Took a few to realize it wasn’t Bad Brains.
Adding snowboards to the shop might be difficult, but I’d be happy if they brought it someone to do some tunings on my board before the season starts.
