Lost: wallet

7/16/2008:

Please email me if you’ve found it, and I’ll contact the owner:

“I lost a wallet yesterday and would like to post on your site to see if anyone has found it. I got out of a cab on 11th and Washington. I believe it fell out of the cab and unto the street right in front of Maxwells.”

Those sweepers don’t check what they pick up, they just dump it at the end of the day.

Call PD and if the post office still lets you drop lost wallets in the mail box you may get it in a few days or a notice to pick up a parcel at the 14th street station.

For future ref, take a couple minutes and color or photocopy all your ID’s, SS Card, credit cards, etc and keep them in a folder at home secured. Should you lose them again or they are stolen and someone uses them it makes the case more solid and easier for you to make a claim or cancel you cards as needed Copy both side and keep together. I did it and it save me hours of work and stress when I lost my wallet years ago.

check with the Dpw, the street sweepers pass washington street every morning, if it went unnoticed overnight there is good chance the sweeper may have swept it up…worth a try…good luck
