This week Danny’s Upstairs presents comedian Joseph Anthony. You may know Joe from his many radio and television appearances including “WINNER” of Howard Stern’s Kill or be Killed and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Joe is a classic native New Yorker (“street kid” sensibility), struggling in suburbia, who brings an attitude of lovable anger and a buffet of thought provoking material to his audiences. You can catch him live along with some of the NYC areas top comics this Thursday July 10th at 9pm.

I find it funny that the Gaslight were not allowed to continue their comedy night because they were a bar/restaurant and did not have proper zoning for live entertainment. Here we have the same exact business (bar/restaurant) being allowed to have a comedy night….what’s up with that?

The Gaslight doesn’t have a celeb owner who will pose for pictures with greasy pols and their buddies and sign autographs.
